The best auto-apply tools in 2026, reviewed by what they send
AIApply is the best auto-apply tool overall on our scoring, because it lets you approve every application, send only above a fit score, or both. Dreamwork (our publisher) is the pick for tailored applications you read before they go. Simplify sends tailored applications to internships and new-grad roles, JobCopilot covers company career pages, and LoopCV has the best free plan.
The short answer
- One application costs from under $0.02 (LazyApply, used to its daily cap) to $1.00 (Simplify+ billed weekly) on the plans we priced.
- Dreamwork (dreamworkhq.com) and Simplify+ write a resume for each job on every paid plan. AIApply charges $12 a month extra for it, JobCopilot does it only on Elite, and LoopCV sends one CV everywhere.
- Simplify's Autopilot sends without a review step. AIApply, JobCopilot, LoopCV and Dreamwork each have a mode where you approve every application first.
- Refunds are strict across the category. LoopCV's is the plainest: 7 days, if you have used no more than 10% of the quota.
- Automating LinkedIn Easy Apply breaks LinkedIn's User Agreement. LoopCV does it; JobCopilot does not apply on LinkedIn at all.

How do the top auto-apply tools compare?
The form below sets six auto-apply tools side by side: what each one sends, where it applies, who presses send, what it costs and what you can get back. Every mark comes from the tool's own pages, read on November 8, 2026. A dotted outline means the tool's pages did not say, which is not the same as no.

Which auto-apply tool should you pick?
Each pick is labeled by the job it does best. The order counts what we could confirm on each tool's own pages: a resume written for each job, a cover letter, screening answers, employer forms, job boards, and a way to check before sending. AIApply and Dreamwork tie on 10 points, and the tie goes to the lower cost per application, so AIApply is first. The method page shows every score.
-
AIApply
Best for setting how much you review, by fit score
Why we picked it. AIApply has three modes: Auto sends everything, Review needs your approval for every job, and Hybrid sends automatically at a fit score of 75 or higher and holds the rest for you.
Who it's for. Pick AIApply if you want volume with a fit-score gate and you will pay for the tailoring add-ons. Skip it if you want a trial first or a refund path: Auto Apply is non-refundable once applications go out.
- Per application
- $0.27 to $0.73
- Cheapest plan
- $49 a month for 100 applications
- Check before sending
- Review mode needs your approval for every job
-
Dreamwork
Best for tailored applications on employer forms that you can check first
Why we picked it. A resume, cover letter and screening answers written for each role are part of the plan price, it submits to the employer's own application system, and Review first lets you read each one before it goes. Autopilot sends only to matches above a minimum match score you set.
Who it's for. Pick Dreamwork if you want each application written for the role and sent to the employer's own form, and you want to read it first or limit Autopilot to strong matches. Look elsewhere if your search is mostly outside tech or runs on LinkedIn referrals.
- Per application
- $0.66 to $0.78
- Cheapest plan
- Pro, $39 a month or $99 a quarter, 50 applications a month
- Check before sending
- Nothing is sent until you tap Apply; with Review first, each one waits for you to read, edit and send
-
Simplify
Best for tailored applying to internships and new-grad roles
Why we picked it. Simplify+ includes 20 Autopilot credits a week, and a tailored resume and any required cover letter come inside the credit. On the monthly plan that works out to about $0.46 an application. Simplify lists internships and new-grad roles, which AIApply does not support. The catch is stated in its help center: Autopilot submits without a review step.
Who it's for. Pick Simplify if you are happy to set your profile up carefully and let it send tailored applications without showing you each one. Its free Copilot extension is also the best free way to fill employer forms yourself.
- Per application
- $0.35 to $1.00
- Cheapest plan
- Simplify+ $19.99 a week, $39.99 a month, or $89.99 for 3 months
- Check before sending
- Not in Autopilot. Free Copilot fills the form and you press Submit
-
JobCopilot
Best for volume on company career pages
Why we picked it. JobCopilot applies only on official company career pages and lists 54 applicant tracking systems it can submit to. Premium starts from $0.93 a day for up to 20 applications, which is about five cents each if you use the full daily allowance.
Who it's for. Pick JobCopilot if you want a steady daily stream of applications to employer sites, not boards. Pay for Elite if you want the resume tailored per job; Premium sends the one you upload.
- Per application
- $0.02 to $0.05
- Cheapest plan
- Premium from $0.93 a day, up to 20 a day; weekly, monthly and quarterly billing
- Check before sending
- Autofill and save for you to review
-
LoopCV
Best free plan, and the pick for LinkedIn Easy Apply
Why we picked it. LoopCV's free plan sends up to 10 applications a month with no card, and paid plans work out to $0.20 an application. It automates LinkedIn Easy Apply through a Chrome extension, which is exactly what LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits, so treat that part as a risk to your account.
Who it's for. Pick LoopCV for cheap, broad coverage of job boards with a free start. Use its LinkedIn feature only if you accept that LinkedIn bans automation tools and can restrict your account.
- Per application
- $0.20
- Cheapest plan
- $19.99 a month for 100 (the page's FAQ says from €9.99)
- Check before sending
- Turn off Auto-Apply and use One-Click Apply per match
-
LazyApply
Cheapest raw volume, if you never read what it sends
Why we picked it. LazyApply's Premium plan is $149 a year for up to 150 applications a day. Used to the cap, that is a fraction of a cent per application. Its pages do not say it tailors anything per job or offers a review step, and billing is annual with no trial.
Who it's for. Pick LazyApply only if volume is the whole plan and a year up front is fine. Everyone else should start with the alternatives below.
- Per application
- under $0.02
- Cheapest plan
- Basic $99 a year for 15 a day; billed annually
- Check before sending
- No review step described
How much does an auto-apply tool cost per application?
On the plans we priced, one application costs under $0.02 with LazyApply at its daily cap, $0.02 to $0.05 with JobCopilot, $0.20 with LoopCV, $0.27 to $0.73 with AIApply, $0.35 to $1.00 with Simplify+ and $0.66 to $0.78 with Dreamwork. Plans that write a resume for each job cost more per application. Each figure is the plan price divided by the applications the plan allows.
Daily caps assume you use every application, every day, which few people do, so the real cost per sent application is higher on daily-capped plans. "Tailored" means the plan writes a resume for each job.
| Tool | Plan | Price | Applications | Per application | Tailored per job | How we got it |

| AIApply | 100 a month, same resume | $49 a month | 100 | $0.49 | No.No | $49 ÷ 100 |

| Ultimate | $999 a year | 1,500 a day | $0.002 | Not stated on its pages.Not stated | $999 ÷ (1,500 × 365) |
Simplify's monthly figure assumes 20 credits a week for 52 weeks spread over 12 months. AIApply's help center lists $199 as 750 applications in its plan list and 600 in its top-up list; we used 750. LoopCV's pricing page shows $19.99 on the plan card and "from €9.99" in its FAQ; we used the card.
Is auto apply worth it?
Auto apply is worth it when the tool sends something you would have sent yourself. Every auto-apply tool fills in forms, which saves time on every plan. The tools differ most in whether they write the documents, and that is also where the price differences come from.
The cheapest tools send the same resume everywhere. LoopCV says so on its auto-apply page. AIApply does the same unless you add its $12 tailored resume add-on. JobCopilot tailors only on Elite. Dreamwork and Simplify write a resume for each job inside the plan price.
Next, decide who presses send. Simplify's Autopilot has no review step, and its help center says so. AIApply, JobCopilot, LoopCV and Dreamwork each have a mode where you check the application first. If the tool writes your cover letter, that check is worth having.
Last, read the refund terms before you pay. AIApply's Auto Apply cannot be refunded once applications are sent. Simplify refunds nothing after activation. Massive's terms say all payments are nonrefundable. Dreamwork's payments are non-refundable except where the law requires, though cancelling during its 7-day trial costs nothing. LazyApply's refund needs proof the product failed. LoopCV's is the plainest: 7 days, under 10% of your quota used.
Can LinkedIn ban you for using an auto-apply tool?
Yes, LinkedIn can restrict or close an account for using an auto-apply tool. Section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement bans bots and other unauthorized automated methods, and section 3 lets LinkedIn restrict, suspend, or terminate an account that breaks those rules.
LinkedIn's help page on prohibited software says it does not permit browser extensions that automate activity on its website, and that members who use them risk having their accounts restricted or shut down (LinkedIn Help).
Of the tools here, LoopCV openly automates Easy Apply with a Chrome extension. LazyApply says your profiles "will never get blocked by platforms" and gives no reason why. JobCopilot does not apply on LinkedIn at all. Dreamwork and AIApply submit to employer application systems. If your LinkedIn profile matters to your search, keep automation off it.
"Use bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts, send or redirect messages..."
"LinkedIn reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your account if you breach this Contract..."
Which auto-apply tools did we check but not rank?
We checked Massive, Jobright, BulkApply and Sonara but did not rank them. Massive and Jobright publish no price, so we cannot work out a cost per application. BulkApply's and Sonara's sites did not load when we checked on November 8, 2026.

More questions about auto-apply tools
What is the best auto-apply tool?
AIApply is the best auto-apply tool overall on our scoring. It has a review mode and a fit-score gate, and sells tailoring as add-ons. It ties with Dreamwork on points and ranks first on the lower cost per application. For a resume and cover letter written for each role, included in the price, with the option to read each one first, the pick is Dreamwork ($39 a month for 50 applications, $0.78 each). Simplify+ includes a tailored resume and cover letter in each credit, about $0.46 an application, with no review step, and lists internships and new-grad roles. JobCopilot is the pick for company career pages, and LoopCV for a free plan. Paper Trail is published by Dreamwork.
Which auto-apply tools work on Workday and Greenhouse?
Simplify names Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, Ashby, iCIMS, Jobvite and Taleo among the systems its Copilot extension supports. JobCopilot lists 54 systems, with Workday, iCIMS and Taleo costing an extra credit. AIApply sends to employer applicant tracking systems but publishes no list. Dreamwork submits to the employer's application system on a paid plan. LazyApply names Greenhouse.
Do auto-apply tools give refunds?
Rarely. AIApply's Auto Apply is non-refundable once applications are sent. Simplify refunds nothing after a subscription is active. Dreamwork's payments are non-refundable except where the law requires, though cancelling during its 7-day Pro trial costs nothing. LazyApply refunds a first subscription within 30 days only if the product demonstrably fails. LoopCV's rule is the plainest: within 7 days, if you have used no more than 10% of the plan's quota.
